September 24, 2025,the companies have partnered to fully adapt the HXOPT™ digital back-end design toolchain for GlobalFoundries’ 22FDX® platform, providing more efficient and reliable chip design support for automotive, IoT, and smart mobility applications.
Huaxin Jushu (HX-DA) and GlobalFoundries (Nasdaq: GFS) (“GF”), a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, today announced that HX-DA’s HXOPT™ design toolchain has been fully qualified for GF’s 22FDX® process platform, providing global customers with a new generation of energy-efficient, high-performance chip design solutions.
The HXOPT™ toolchain offers a complete physical design reference flow from netlist to GDSII, with specialized optimizations for the 22FDX® platform’s high-performance standard cell library, significantly improving design efficiency and chip performance. Through validation testing on multiple complex chip modules, the flow has achieved precise timing and design rule (DRC) closure, demonstrating excellent stability and reliability.
GF’s 22FDX® platform is widely recognized in the industry for its outstanding energy efficiency and highly integrated features, delivering an ideal combination of ultra-low power consumption and high performance for edge computing and AI applications. The successful adaptation of the HXOPT™ toolchain further enriches the 22FDX® platform’s design ecosystem, offering customers more diverse and flexible EDA tool options.

The HXOPT™ toolchain also provides corresponding design assurance and verification support for such high-reliability applications.
